Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) – B.Pharm

  • To prepare graduates with strong foundational and advanced knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences for successful careers in pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, community pharmacy, research organizations, and regulatory bodies.
  • To enable students to pursue higher education, research, and lifelong learning in areas such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, and Clinical Pharmacy.
  • To develop professional ethics, teamwork, communication skills, and leadership qualities, enabling graduates to adapt to evolving healthcare and pharmaceutical environments.

Program Outcomes (POs) – B.Pharm

  • Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, basic sciences, and allied healthcare disciplines to solve complex problems related to drug formulation, analysis, and therapy.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret drug-related, healthcare, and pharmaceutical problems using principles of pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, and biostatistics.
  • Design and evaluate drug delivery systems, dosage forms, and pharmaceutical processes considering patient safety, quality, regulatory, ethical, and environmental aspects.
  • Use research-based knowledge including data collection, analysis, interpretation, and experimentation to draw valid conclusions in pharmaceutical research and practice.
  • Select and apply appropriate modern pharmaceutical tools, instruments, and technologies for drug development, quality control, and clinical applications.
  • Apply ethical principles, legal knowledge, and regulatory guidelines to professional pharmacy practice with due consideration to public health, safety, and societal responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills while working independently or as part of multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
